Three Fires Council (TFC) Training Academy 11/11/17

Posted on Oct 20 2017 - 1:45am

It is that time of year, the TFC Training Academy will be on Nov. 11th from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Sycamore High School this year. This is the a great opportunity for Adults and Scouts to attend needed training for their position(s) since it is now a requirement that all leaders must be trained for their position.  It is also a great time to take additional training classes for other areas that may interest you and to interact and share ideas from people from other units. Classes offered range from Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster training to leathermaking, Scoutbook(goes over the in's and out's), Useful Scout Apps, Basic Knots, and more.  Make it fun and sign up for classes as a group and car pool.  It is not necessary to take classes to fill the entire day if you are only available in the morning or afternoon.  For Scouts they also have Senior Patrol Leader and Den Chief training.  Please take advantage of this opportunity to sign up for training, the cost for registeration before Oct. 27th is $30 and the cost after that is $35. The cost includes lunch and a patch.  The troop will reimburse you for the cost of attending this training, please see Ed for more details.  Register early to be sure you can attend the classes you want, click on these links for more information.    TFC Training Academy Registration   Training Academy Class Grid
