Mr. Todas will be leading a hike this Sunday, May 20, starting @ 12:15 pm from the west end of the North Aurora bridge (by Harners).  It should run no later than 4;00 pm. This hike will be ~10 miles and will fulfill one of the requirements for the Hiking Merit Badge. Hikers should bring their own water and food as needed, i.e. energy bars, trail mix, ect. and should wear appropriate shoes and clothing. Those not signed up are still welcome to participate! Troop elections are being held during the Monday, May 21, meeting. This is a Scout-led troop, and as such, it is important that scouts show up for this meeting and participate. You should be receiving a call from your Patrol leader to remind you to attend.

During next Monday's meeting, Mr Williams will have an adult training meeting addressing Autism in Scouting. If you have any questions, contact Sean Williams.

The troop would like to form a Color Guard team to perform ceremonies at local sporting events, ect. Any scouts interested should contact Donnie Lemley. This would be a great way to represent the Boy Scouts and your troop.

The Troop would like to see all scouts who have not yet had CPR training become CPR certified. At the Monday, June 4 meeting, there will be a CPR training session open to all Troop 3 Scouts and parents. We urge all scouts to attend this meeting as this is a great training opportunity and could be an invaluable skill. Anyyone completing this training will be certified in CPR by the American Heart Association.

Congratulations to the Phoenix and Camo patrols for winning 7awards between them at the Camporee!!! Much fun was had by all and the Phoenix patrol also won the competition meal.
